Cookie policy.

What cookies we use on this site, and how you can control them. Last updated 23 April 2026.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They’re used to make sites work, remember preferences, and (sometimes) track behaviour across sites. This policy explains what we use and why.

Our approach

We keep cookies to the minimum needed to run the site and understand how it’s being used. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don’t sell your data to anyone.

What we use

Strictly necessary

These are essential for the site to function, for example, remembering whether you’ve closed a cookie banner, or keeping a form draft between page reloads. They don’t need your consent, because the site wouldn’t work without them.

Analytics

These help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Until you choose Accept on our cookie banner, our analytics runs in a restricted, cookie-free mode: it sets no cookies and stores no identifiers on your device, sending only anonymous, aggregated signals. If you decline, it stays in that mode and no analytics cookies are ever set.

  • Google Analytics (GA4). Once you accept, it sets cookies to measure visits, traffic sources and which pages people use, with IP addresses anonymised. If you decline, it remains in cookie-free mode and sets no cookies. How Google uses cookies.
  • Vercel Analytics, privacy-focused and cookie-less, with no personal identifiers stored, used to understand page performance.
  • Searchable Analytics, cookie-less with no personal data stored, used to understand how visitors and AI assistants find the site.

Embedded content

We embed the Trustpilot widget so you can see our reviews live. Trustpilot may set their own cookies when their widget loads, see Trustpilot’s privacy terms for what they collect.

How to control cookies

Every modern browser lets you view, manage and delete cookies. Useful links:

Blocking cookies from this site won’t break it, but some embedded content (like the Trustpilot widget) may not display.

Changes to this policy

If we change the cookies we use, we’ll update this page and bump the “last updated” date. For questions, email support@djukaelectrics.co.uk.
